Location: Moree Community Corrections
Position Type: Ongoing 35 hours per week
Salary: Clerk Grade 8 - $121, 845 to $125,719 plus employer’s contribution to Superannuation and Annual Leave Loading.

Your role

Community Corrections Team Leaders provide professional support, mentoring and leadership to the team to ensure a high standard of professional service delivery that is compliant with legislation, policies, and procedures.

What you’ll do

As part of the middle management team in community corrections, you will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

• Provide professional support, mentoring and leadership to a team of Community Corrections Officers (CCOs) to maintain a high standard of professional service delivery that is compliant with legislation, policies, and procedures.
• Develop and maintain a cohesive team with positive and transparent culture focused on best practice and excellence.
• Guide and support team members with differing levels of experience and technical competence to enable their development.
• Assess risk and prioritise demands within available resources to ensure the quality of interventions are maintained at a high standard, and resources are targeted to where they will have the greatest impact.
• Work as part of a leadership team to identify systemic areas for development, implement and monitor activities to ensure team members’ work quality is in line with best practices.
